Before the Wedding Dieting Tips For All Brides

Wedding Dieting Tips

Since wedding planning can be hectic and overwhelming we find very little time to eat three good meals throughout the day. In addition to our planning be on the go, often times our food ends up that same way. Let’s face it, none of us want to count calories and plan a wedding at the same time. So, since we know the struggle is real we’ve put together these wedding dieting tips for you. These tips will not only allow you to look your best but also give you energy to plan.

Wedding Dieting Tips

These tips will allow you to achieve a slim figure for your wedding day as well as keep your energized. Often times we see diets that help you stay slim but they deplete you of all your energy. How can you plan a wedding then? You can’t! So, let’s dive into the first tip of the wedding dieting tips.

  1. Don’t count the calories

Often times we associate a well balanced meal as eating a little of everything. However, thats not the case. So stop worry about counting calories and start thinking of the way your meals are balanced. Combining foods such as carbs and proteins can often times leave you feeling bloated, gassy, and even constipated. The key here is to break things up into different meals.

2. Start light, and get heavier as the day goes on

Wedding Dieting TipsStart your day with a green tea and don’t forget to add some fresh lemon. Follow that up with a green juice or smoothie, which will boost alkalinity or body’s natural pH balance, giving you energy, vitamins and minerals. This will also help hydrate you for the day ahead. For lunch, keep things light. Have a salad, go light and try to stick with all veggies – if you need proteins, add in a small portion of chicken or hard boiled eggs. Dinner should be your heaviest meal. Always begin with a green leafy salad before your entree. Salmon or a whole grain are good choices followed with your favorite veggies. For dessert, if you can skip it, skip it. If not, go for an organic raw dark chocolate of some kind.

3. Staying hydrated at the right times

Wedding Dieting TipsDrink water throughout the day. However, when it comes to eating a meal try to go light on the water. This allows you to keep all the important enzymes in your mouth and esophagus.

4. Snacks to AVOID

Often times we’re told, nuts are a healthy snack. Yes, they have healthy fats and are packed with protein, on the other hand they are heavy on the digestive system and dehydrating. If you absolutely need to eat nuts, just have a handful and make sure they are raw and organic.

5. Snacks to HAVE

If possible try to sit down and enjoy a meal. However, if you’re a bride on the go you may need a few snack recommendations, jot these down. Pack some crudité with hummus or smashed avocado, even summer rolls are a great option.

6. Avoid Bloating

I recommend staying away from all carbonated drinks; water, sodas, juices, everything with bubbles. These make you feel gassy and bloated, not to mention they cause cellulite. Also, cut out dairy from your diet. This can make you gassy, constipated, and mucus prone.

7. Keeping Your Energy Up

8. Healthy Habits

Get on track by eating healthy, getting lots of rest, and working out, so if you don’t have time during the madness at least you know you put in the work before.

9. After Planning Madness, get a boost

Matcha is a great way to boost your metabolism and give you that energy kick you’ll be needing before the big day.

10. Mix up your workouts

Yoga Moves

Mixing up your workouts is a great way to get your whole body going with your new diet. Yoga and Pilates are two of my all time favorite workouts, this will tone you up as well as strengthen your core & muscles. Also, a little bit of weights never hurt no one.
