One of the first things a bride gets after she’s engaged is her wedding gown. I’ve been seeing more and more brides have a ceremony dress and a reception dress which makes it even more demanding. Depending on your budget here are a few shops that always get great reviews and seem to be the go to places most of my clients go.
If you have a little higher budget for a gown and you want something that no one else has then Mon Amie Bridal Salon in Orange County is the place to go. For 35 years this bridal boutique has an amazing selection of designer gowns. They also have a large selection of special occasion gowns, mother- of- the-bride gowns and bridal accessories. I did a styled shoot for the Fairmont Inn Newport Beach and Mon Amie provided us with two weddings gowns. They were absolutely gorgeous.

One of the most popular places most of my clients go to get dresses is Pebbles Bridal. Brides gush over this place. It’s a family owned bridal shop located in Woodland Hills and in Orange County. It’s a comfortable atmosphere and their prices are also reasonable. All the brides I know that got their gowns here only have positive things to say about their experience at this shop.

Sometimes going to a store can be overwhelming. That’s where getting a personal stylist is a great way for a bride to not feel stressed. Having someone who gets you, can pull gowns for you or can go shopping with you can take a load of stress off you. That’s where Merrie from Your Big Day comes in, with her experience as a stylist at Nordstrom Wedding Suite and School of Style Certification she makes getting your wedding dress fun and not a hopeless search. She has her own studio so she can pull dresses for you and a lot of my clients rave about her.

If you are on a tighter budget, Simply Bridal in downtown Los Angeles is the place to go. With 500+ dresses and gowns reduces to $99, you can get our dream gown on a budget. This place always gets great reviews. I’ve done styled shoots with some of their gowns and people always stop the models and tell them how much they love their wedding gown.
